you're completely right, tharmo! it was not very considerate of us not to
respond to this great news. i'm pretty sure there are many csoundqt users
out there that are very happy and grateful with this new release. i bet
that they're all so absorbed trying the new features, that they haven't
had the time yet to send you a big thank you and congratulations!

Hi Tarmo,

Great! This is fantastic. I was telling Oeyvind the other day that I feel so lucky that CsoundQt is not dying a slow death because I can't take care of it but instead it's just blossoming on.

This is great and useful work!

Cheers,
Andrés

Thank you for this update Tarmo. I haven't had time to test it out yet but I look forward to updating the computers in our lab and trying out the new bells and whistles.

Hi Iain,
Thank you and thank you all for good words!
Iain, am I correct that you have OsX 10.12 in some machine? When you will have time, please let me know if the console panel displays well - Dr. B had black text on black background I am curious if it is a general osx 10.12 thing.
Best!

The problem Dr. B reports is present here also with the most recent build. The issue actually predates this version. Essentially the problem is that preferences->general->font colour is not remembering changes that are made and each time CsoundQt is re-launched, it reverts back to black text on a black background. Messages at the end of performance, "end of score, overall amps...", are in red.
