good reverberation impulse responses

Where can I get good hall reverb impulse responses? I'm interested in the most natural and warm sound possible, rather than special effects.

I'm looking for either free or paid impulse responses, it's just about getting good ones for hall reverb. (It seems like almost every Google search I do for IR's ends up taking me to a site that features IR's made from an old-technology reverb unit, not an actual natural recording.) Mike |

I have a small collection of impulse response recordings from Italian churches I got years ago on the 'net that are nice.

I've been using these quite a lot: http://www.balancemastering.com/blog/free-teufelsberg-nsa-listening-tower-impulse-responses-ir-irs-convolution/ Perhaps not the average warm hall reverb kindof sound, but I have been using them in normal mix productions. +1 for OpenAirLib, I've used several of their IRs. On Tue, Nov 8, 2016 at 10:09 AM, Anton Kholomiov <anton.kholomiov@gmail.com> wrote:

I can't find much in Open Air Library. If you choose "real world" as the impulse type, very few results are returned. Most of them come from reverb devices. There's not really any filter for quality in Open Air Lib either. I'm hoping someone here knows of good quality, natural, warm reverberation. This search shows quite a few real world impulses (many of which I've either used or played with). The ones I've used have mostly been 48/24 stereo WAV, but I seem to recall more than one at 96/24. On Tue, Nov 8, 2016 at 11:46 AM, Michael Mossey <michaelmossey@gmail.com> wrote:

I'm quite fond of the bricasti M7 IR set http://www.samplicity.com/bricasti-m7-impulse-responses/ On Nov 8, 2016 08:51, "Dave Seidel" <dave.seidel@gmail.com> wrote:

You got a lot of results because you didn't specify the type. I want a traditional, warm concert hall. If you select "hall" or "concert hall" as the type, you get about three between those two categories. Maybe some of those are good! I need to listen. Mike |
