Subjectupcoming Csound performances
I have three things events up, and Csound is involved with all of them:

- Tomorrow night at The Hearing Room in Lowell, MA, I'll be performing with David McIntire's Ensemble of Irreproducible Outcomes -- I'll be playing a Csound instrument on my Nexus 7 tablet, and processing it further via my laptop, running a different Csound program

- Saturday night in Newburyport, MA, my realtime generative piece Threefold Soliloquy will run (on my tablet) to provide a soundtrack for Greg Kowalski's live+video production of Beckett's PLAY

- On October 14, I'll present a new six-channel fixed media piece (made with Csound) called Hexany Permutations at the Electronic Music Midwest festival in Romeoville, IL.

I don't know if any of you will be in the vicinity of any of these events, but there's no harm in letting people know!

Thanks, and please excuse the self-promotion.

Good to know indeed!

ps: What are you using to run Csound on tablet? how do you deal with real-time delays
that are pretty big for android devices

Anton,

I'm using the Csound app with an HTML5 interface. A little latency is not a problem with my most of my music, since I'm usually working with drones and slow attack/decay envelopes in a non-rhythmic context. My tablet instrument I'll be using tonight is made using a modification of Tarmo's scanned synthesis sandbox in two voices (stereo). The Csound program on the laptop generates different types of chords based on the frequencies being produced by the tablet based on various mathematical relationships (such as combination tones).
