Hi all,

I'm the first with ?

For the moment, trying "play" in the opcode chapter "oscil", i get :

Csound: No support for pNaCl (maybe disabled?).

But i launched my Chromium as well with "chromium-browser --enable-nacl",
and this Chromium launch worked without error message.

I have difficulties to understand on the Web what is really needed as client
; or, maybe, i need also to install a pnacl-able Csound on my own system ?

Debian stable (Jessie) ; i didn't found any plugin or same thing to install
especially, and called Pnacl or Nacl...

Any help...

Cheers

Sergio

You probably have an earlier version of the browser in which PNaCl is not enabled by default. You can enable in the flags page or from the command line, or try updating to a more recent release.

The whole point of Csound for PNaCl is that there is no need for any manual installation on the client. Everything is supposed to work automatically and transparently.

Best,
Mike

Here the link from Victor :

"In chrome://flags I've enabled Native Client and started Chromium with
chromium-browser --enable-nacl"

That mean that there are two things to make :

1) to enable "native client" in chrome ://flags ;
2) to start Chromium with "enable-nacl".

The second ("enable-nacl") i made, and i got no any error message ; but the
first, this mysterious "chrome://flags, i didn't made because i didn't
understand where that will be make. Mabe is that the only one problem ?

I'll also ask the french Debian forum.

Greatings,

Sergio

I don't know about Debian, but the Chrome I am running is from Google.

chrome is a URL, you enter it in the address bar:

chrome://

For the flags (there are a lot of them):

I tried what explaned Michael, found effectively an unique flag about Nacl,
enabled it, but again on the Manual (oscil) i got a message about no enabled
Nacl...

That mean that even on a distro-Chromium Nacl is present, but...
