FL opcodes not working on my ubuntu system

SubjectFL opcodes not working on my ubuntu system
I completely befnurgled my csound FLTK opcodes a few years ago when I did a bad job of installing the FLTK package directly from source.

Now I'm trying to run some examples which depend on the FL opcodes for control of some sensitive parameters...

The error messages I'm getting are a warning that csound can't open libstk.so [This shows up for everything, including csd's that work], and then an outright error:
Unexpected untyped word FLcolor when expecting a variable

How to cope with this?

That means you do not have fltk opcodes.  What version of fltk is installed?

What shows on the package management system is libfltk1.1 and libfltk1.3, both presently installed.

Csound, I gather, has its own implementation that clashes with all that when I install it?

No, but it must use FLTK 1.3. Do you have the Deb version of that installed?
