[Announce] CsoundUnity v2.0

Date2016-05-18 18:17
FromRory Walsh
Subject[Announce] CsoundUnity v2.0
I'm pleased to announce a much improved Csound wrapper for the Unity3D game engine. This version integrates Csound into Unity far better than previous versions, and also adds a mechanism for auditioning instruments using Unity's game editor. The coolest thing about this version is that you can use Unity's 3D audio tools to manipulate and spatialise your Csound instruments. Unity will take care of all distance settings, and localisation of sounds within a scene. For details, and updated docs, please visit http://rorywalsh.github.io/CsoundUnity/

Regards,
Rory.

Woot,

I was just recently viewing the same thing for Pure Data, but perhaps CSound is even more interesting as a game sound engine.
Good job.

It's such a light-weight solution. Really powerful. Feel free to contribute. I'd like to build up a list of useful static methods to make things even easier. All suggestions welcome.

Is this Windows only? I'd say Shane Byrne might be interested to use it. I'll send him
the link.

I see it's not. By the way the site buttons have typos ("pacakge").

This should be useful to a lot of people. Congrats.
