I was Trying to install csound on an 8gb sd card that was set up with raspbian jessie, following these instrucitons:

https://github.com/csound/csound/blob/develop/BUILD.md#raspian After I change my sources.list file and run sudo apt-get update I tried to install python-dev but it said I had no space left on my disk. When I check in the file manager it indeed says I have 0 bytes of freespace. Any idea what is causing this? |

I did not, that is probably it. Perhaps the github instructions could be modified to include this, I don't know how I could have known to do that without asking here. Thanks for your help!

Yeah I understand what you mean. It's a pretty simple step to add in though and could save people some unnecessary grief. Just a little warning or reminder could be nice. It actually broke the SD card to miss that step and I had to get a new one.
