SubjectCsoundQt 0.9.2 Build on Arch Linux
Hi,

I managed to get a CsoundQt executable produced on Arch with rtmidi after several tries in adding Qt5 modules to my system. However, after CsoundQt comes up whenever I press any of the buttons such as Run or Run in Term, the application freezes. I built this using qmake and not the qtcreator.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to debug this?

Regards,
Mitch

Hi!

Would you mind joining CsoundQt mailing list?

https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/qutecsound-users

It is fine to aks about CsoundQT here, but the other one is more specified (and I would like to have more people actively using it ;) )

When crash happen on Run, probably some of the csound libraries or its plugins are not found.

Sometimes a simple $ sudo /sbin/ldconfig
is enough to refresh the list of newly compiled system libraries.

When you run CsoundQt from console. What is your output? Do you see any error messages?

Let know, how it goes!

Thanks Tarmo. I'll move this over to the other list.
