I'm pretty sure this has been covered recently, but I can't find the email...

anyway, how do I acquire the latest up to date manual? Will it be
built when I build Csound, in which case, where would it go on ubuntu?
or do I need to build it separately?

Yes, but that's not the latest manual. I'm after one for a relatively
up to date 6.07, that includes the new MVCLPF opcodes. I've seen the
devs mention updating the manual when theyve added features, how do I
aquire this new manual?

The manual source repository is found at:

https://github.com/csound/manual

and it includes build instructions.  The pre-built version of the
manual will be released when Csound itself is released.
