This is the second big thing after reverbsc that I've seen in the Csound.

I'd like to thank Michael Gogins for porting this thing. It's incredible feature to have in Csound. The padsynth is an easy way to creation of "alive" instruments. I think maybe I can post some examples later.. but it sounds fantastic out of the box! PS: docs have two missing arguments. They go just before harmonics. -- type of the shape 1, 2, 3 -- shape function parameter -- then harmonics go.. Cheers, Anton |

Iain has written a PadSynth for Cabbage that you should check out. You can grab it here: In fact, he has two up there. They should also be part of the latest installers for Cabbage. On 11 March 2016 at 19:29, Anton Kholomiov <anton.kholomiov@gmail.com> wrote:

I've got my examples too :) you can try them with csound. I've rendered two types of examples: * for midi device (if you have the midi-keyboard) * for virtual midi (if you don't have the one) The instruments are harmonics taken from real acoustic instrumeents but enriched with PadSynth algorithm. some instruments also have noise signal to create an atmosphere. One example is a simple looper. It loops for 4 seconds. You can get the tempo by delay. Delay is tunet to triplets (1/3) of the second So hope you can get the feel of the algorithm (what can be done) with attached examples. Anton 2016-03-11 22:38 GMT+03:00 Rory Walsh <rorywalsh@ear.ie>:

The examples are unreadable (since they are computer generated) but you can get how the padsynth sounds. 2016-03-11 22:49 GMT+03:00 Anton Kholomiov <anton.kholomiov@gmail.com>:
