Question about pvanal

Date2016-02-18 15:45

SubjectQuestion about pvanal
For a mini project I have a 70s sample which I analyse with pvanal,
and re-synthesise with
asig pvoc ktime, k2, "homecoming.pvx", 1

It would be so nice is the sample could be dynamic -- tat is recorded
and analysed in the same csd that plays it back and even better on
android. Is there a way this can be done with psanal and tales? Or
do I need a new version of pvoc?

You could put the soundfile in a table and use pvstanal to read it, pvsynth to resynthesise it.
Is that what you mean?

Also, if you are not doing any other fsig manipulation in between, you can use mincer or temposcal instead
(then there is no need for pvsynth).

The point of the program is to allow pitch and rate changes independently.
Not looked at mincer or temposcal -- first look and not sure of the
difference

Yes, mincer and temposcal do that. It will be simpler than pvstanal.
