Subject[Csound] time scaling - noisy samples (fwd)
From: christos

trying to time scale and pitch shift (independently) using sndwarp on a
rather noisy (in the sense of unpitched, metallic) sound. despite trying a
whole range of values for overlaps and windowsize etc, i can achieve no
result that is as clean as a simple change in playback rate in reaper for
example (ok: no independence, granted). i've checked everything i can think
of but: is there any other opcode more adapted to time scaling? phase
vocoder also does not give very clean results on noisy samples.
thanks
christos

temposcal and mincer normally works very well.
Maybe he can upload the sound file somewhere so we can test if there
are unusual artifacts with this specific sound material?
