Just reading Iain's article. Great stuff. But did anyone else read Visual Conundrumsas Visual Csoundrums? Iain cleverly created his own visual conundrum in his article on visual conundrums! I was so impressed I couldn't even finish the article without posted about it first! On 24 September 2015 at 22:19, Oeyvind Brandtsegg <oyvind.brandtsegg@ntnu.no> wrote: Nice work. Nice read, thanks! Reading the article about synchronisation via OSC, it makes evident that csound would profit from having an implementation of a hashtable. I remember having read about a proposal for implementing such data structures in csound. It would make a great addition. Yes, there is an issue filed for this in the tracker. A <string, float> map would be simple, but making it generic for types gets a little more complicated. Also, a literal syntax for specifying maps needs further research. Certainly something we should talk about at the Csound conference during the panel session (hopefully others can join in via IRC) and something to discuss further in this list. We will want to get everyone's input at the conference to help establish goals and directions for csound 7 and 8. On Fri, Sep 25, 2015, 3:32 PM moguillansky <eduardo.moguillansky@gmail.com> wrote:
