Yes, it does work.

It requires Android Csound6[.05] - the latest.

I have used it running Csound6.apk with .csd's using OSC commands, and with 
custom GUIs made with the TouchOSC app ($5 on Google Play) running 
simultaneously on the same device. TouchOSC and Csound can both send and 
receive OSC.

I've made such GUI versions of several recent pieces, to be found at: 
http://www.arthunkins.com .
They are addenda to the compositions PEACE BE WITH YOU alt, and SPIRITUS 
SANCTUS alt . (See list of recent compositions at above URL.)
The touchosc templates are included.
