Hi All,

I recently came across the work of Micah Frank, a composer and sound programmer.  He's released Comput0, a set of audio loops generated with Csound and a custom program called Pegasus.  I've posted a news story about this on the csound github site:

I thought the sound examples from Comput0 were pretty great and thought others here might be interested.

Thanks!

The loops sound really, really good. This is definitely a good example of how Csound's sound-generating capabilities can be used in a new, and very creative way. Thanks for sharing this, Steven!

Thanks for posting Steven! If anyone in the list would like to download Comput0 (for free) just send a quick note to micah@puremagnetik.com and I'll send you a link - my gift back to the community. Cheers, Micah

SubjectEnv Var
Hi All,

I just re-installed Csound 6.05 on Win 8.1 and now when I run from the
command line Csound cannot find my SSDIR. My paths are:

C:\Csound\bin
C:\Csound\SSDIR

and etc.

I put set the env var in System

SSDIR=C:\Csound\SSDIR\

but to no avail... any suggestions?

Thanks,

Michael

By the way, Winsound, where one can stipulate the directory paths, works
fine... so it is an issue only using the commandline.

If there are no other suggestions, I will try re-installing it using a
different directory structure and see if anything changes.

Thx,

Michael

It can be heard on Sound Cloud:

As always I am interested in comments.

Thanks!!
