Hello, I installed Csound 6.05.2 on windows, and I noticed on the download page "For using Csound inside Max, you will find the csound~ external as .zip or .pkg." Going through the directory that Csound was installed to, I am not seeing any .zip file. I am looking for guidance as to which directory the Max external could be found. |

I think at the moment, binaries are only available for OSX (csound~.pkg). ======================== Dr Victor Lazzarini Dean of Arts, Celtic Studies and Philosophy, Maynooth University, Maynooth, Co Kildare, Ireland Tel: 00 353 7086936 Fax: 00 353 1 7086952 > On 27 Jun 2015, at 13:35, Justin Rosander |

Hi Justin, You can find the v1.1.2 version of csound~ for Windows here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/csound/files/csound6/Csound6.04/ I'm working on a v1.1.3 at the moment as I've gotten a lot of bug reports. This isn't my current priority work, but I'm getting some bug fixes in today and will put up a test build of 1.1.3 shortly. Thanks, steven On Sat, Jun 27, 2015 at 8:35 AM, Justin Rosander |

Thank you for your replies. I didn't find that under the link you specified, but I did manage to find it under the 6.03 directory. It works well just in Max/MSP. While in Ableton Live 9, Max4Live throws an error "No such object". I have been stuck using CSound 5.19 using the old 1.1.0 csound~ with Max4Live, so an update would be nice. An update on my last post . . . it seems the paths in Max for Live were not looking under csound~_v1.1.2 folder, only in the help and examples subfolders. Added the path manually, so all is well. On Sat, Jun 27, 2015 at 8:36 PM, Justin <justinrosander@gmail.com> wrote:

Thanks Justin for that followup. I'm awaiting to hear back on a few more bugs before putting out another test build, but it will hopefully be soon. On Sun, Jun 28, 2015 at 11:58 AM, Justin Rosander |
