Hi all.  I'm getting back into Csound and I'm wondering how to know
when the last k cycle in an instrument occurs?  I'm writing values
from instruments into files that will be read later in Python to
create visualizations, and I need a way of writing values from the
last k cycle, including the tails of envelopes if they're used.

Do you have p3 or are these realtime events with indefinite duration (negative   p 3)? In the first case, it should be easy just to check the current time in kcycles against p3 * kr. In the second you could use the release opcode that tells you if a noteoff was sent, and xtratim or one of the r envelopes.
