Dear list, now that the conference is over and things are slowly returning
to normal, I want to express my deepest gratitude for all the warm
messages of the last days. I really appreciated all the messages of
support and encouragement during the conference, and was moved by the
overwhelming accolades after it.

I want to thank all the participants for their presence here, specially
those who traveled from afar. Special thanks to the distinguished
keynotes, and the authors of papers and music. Theirs is all the merit for
the conference.

And the warmest thank you to all those who couldn't make it to Montevideo
but were following us over the Internet, it was very important for us to
know you were there. I'd like to dedicate the conference to all of you.

As you all know, the ICSC2017 was possible thanks to the financial and
institutional support of the University in Uruguay and other public
institutions, and to the hard work and dedication of the whole team of the
studio of electroacoustic music and the GPA. But I would also like to
publicly express my gratitude to Iain, Joachim and Steven for their
support and encouragement during the sometimes stressing months preceding
the conference.

The work is not over yet, though, and in the next days I'll be updating
the website and uploading the videos, papers, photos, etc.

Hope to see you all at the ICSC2019!
