I found and fixed the bug in diskin. In CVS now,
will be there for the next release.

pvsbuffer/pvsbufread are working properly, as
far as I can see. One needs to pass a valid
handle to pvsbufread, otherwise it does not
like it. (I have added an error message and
a graceful exit for when that is not the case,
will be there in the next release).
