Hey, I recently picked up a small MIDI controller, so I'm venturing into writing MIDI based instruments. The first problem I have encountered is how to implement the pitch wheel on the controller. I'm assuming that it utilizes the "pchbend" opcode, but I don't know how to route it in the instrument. Do I add it to the note number designation somehow, or to the kcps of the oscillator? Hi Mark, I've an example here that shows how to use pchbend to imitate pitch bend behaviour in conventional hardware synths: http://www.iainmccurdy.org/csoundrealtimeexamples/MIDI/08MIDIPitchBend.csd Bye, Iain > Date: Tue, 23 Oct 2007 07:34:26 -0700 > From: bass_pilot@yahoo.com > To: csound@lists.bath.ac.uk > Subject: [Csnd] MIDI pitchbend questions > > > Hey, > > I recently picked up a small MIDI controller, so I'm venturing into writing MIDI based instruments.
