Hi all,
I installed Csound 5.07 on my MacBook Pro.
Very nice!

Now it would be great to use a better Csound GUI.
For the being moment it's not possible to edit score
files when the score is not in a csd format.
There is a strange line (-psn_0_5898241) in
the orc space!
In the test editor it's impossible to change test size....
Some composer could appreciate some upgrade..

Why don't you try using e-macs with the
csound extensions?

I've made a csound syntax definition file for smultron, with keyboard short
cuts for rendering, and opening manual pages for selected opcodes. Will that
not do for your purposes?

Thank you very much.... but it is not like a
csound editor... it gives some trouble, for example
it wrote calculation results direclty into the csd file!
However thank you for your suggetions...

I'm just remind that csound GUI requires very simple
corretions: at least the possibility to choice a text
editor (for the being moment it's not possible on mac)...
as well as edit the .sco file...

Please try to do that.

Well it isn't a csound editor (that's why I use blue!) but if you just want
to quickly try out a csd file is fine. It doesn't give me any troubles and
it's handy with the syntax highlighting tool. It is a program made for
programmers so it is open to you own configurations, which means you need to
configure it first before using it as a csound editor :-) 

It wrote calculations into the csd file!? I don't have a problem here :-)
this is the command performing in realtime in smultron (you can add it in
the show commands window):

#!/bin/sh

cd %%d
/usr/local/bin/csound -odac -d -b4096 -B1024 %%p

and for writing the result to file (this creates a file named
YOUR_CSD_FILE_NAME.csd.aiff in the same directory as your csd file):

#!/bin/sh
cd %%d

/usr/local/bin/csound -3 -d -o %%p.aiff  %%p
