AMD64 3200+ running a 32-bit Windows build, SATA hard disk, 512MB RAM
(it used to be 1 gig, but one of the sticks died. I'm wondering if this
might be part or all of the issue).

Version 5.06, with Python 2.5.1 and ActiveState ActiveTcl 8.4.15.0.280619.

I'm wondering if this is where the issue with filters might have
happened, as I included links that may have made my email look like
spam. Reaper is a DAW developed by Justin Frankel (of WinAmp and
Gnutella fame or infamy, depending) and his partner, Christophe (last
name unknown by me). Here's the address, this time mis-formed so you'll
have to probably cut/paste it:
reaper . fm
I also have a link to a screen shot of the crash, which I can include in
an off-line email to you, in case the inclusion of links IS the issue.
It includes the following lines in the CsoundVST window:
BEGAN CsoundVST::getChunk(0)...
ENDED CsoundVST::getChunk, returned 273...
The issue is, that CsoundVST is totally crashing the host. It also did
the same thing in the demo download of EnergyXT (another one of those
upstart DAWs that are appearing). This is the only VST plug-in I've ever
had any issue with in Reaper.
Thank you very much for your help!
