Subject[Csnd] CsoundQt, Windows and copy-paste
Hi,

Since the beginning of this year, CsoundQt on Windows had problems with copy and paste. It came from a change in fltk code.

It was partly fixed in CsoundQt 0.9.4.1 (that is in current installer). Thanks to good and clear feedback from Nathan Holmes and the time he put into making experiments and describe the situation, I believe I was able to find the problem and fix it. I believe, it should be all right now.

This is how communityprojekt should work, Thank you, Nathan!

Still, other Windows users, please try it out and don't hesitate to write back, if you see problems:
tarmo.uuu.ee/varia/failid/cs/CsoundQt/CsoundQt-0.9.5-win64.zip

Download, unzip and run CsoundQt from bin folder. If it works, you can copy it to Program files/Csoundx64/bin instead of the CsoundQt-d-cs6.exe there.

It works with Installed Csound 6.09.1 but not with Csound 6.10-beta that has still some conflicts to solve.

Greetings,
tarmo

Hi Tarmo, I won't get a chance to test this with 6.09 as I've moved entirely to 6.10 at this point. But I'm happy to test anything against 6.10.

I already replied to you off-list but I'll repeat myself a bit here: the 0.9.5 executable is working for me against Csound 6.09.1.

As far as I can tell, copy-paste is now working perfectly for me (on Windows 7; I can test Windows 10 a bit later).

Great work! This will definitely make using CsoundQt a much smoother experience for me.

I'm glad I was able to help identify the behavior that caused it.
