Hello (anyone?)
I notice that the update to Numpy that restores / fixes the "easy / out the
box Scipy compatability" issues is out.
Initially i wanted to look at this a while back to access more advanced
statistical / probability / histogram functionality, but before i faff
around installing & investigating it in earnest (which might be a way off
yet as my "Python meta - lingo sequencer for every occasion" is still
getting the lions share of my attention..)
I thought id ask around to find out what (if any) specific parts of Numpy or
Scipy people might be using as part of their Csound / broader musical
pallette, to give me a feel for some of the more fertile areas of
investigation of these packages?
I know theres a more "hard core" arrays functionality, & some fft capacity,
& "Matlab style" filter coefficient capabilities?
but this is just a "general vibe" for me at the mo, & i'd very much like to
hear about how & what is giving specific benefit / easier / more effective
implementation to peoples Python / Csound code through utilisation of these
Numpy / Scipy modules.
Looking forward to any advice, tips or suggestions. & Thanks for allowing me
to further waste your valuable time & airspace.
Teddles.
