Announcing the release of "Clairaudience: new music from electronic
voice phenomena", feature music by David Bohn, James Bohn, Howard
Kenty, Eric Lyon, Matt Malsky, Jay Mollerskov, Jeff Morris, Alan
Shockley, & Jon Welstead. Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) can be
defined as voices or sounds detected in recorded media that are

to create pieces using such sounds as the basis for their

The release concept is intriguing, but is there some place that perhaps some
brief excerpts of the pieces might be heard? The release is probably too new
to read any reviews of it...US$16 is a bit on the high end of my budget for
leap of faith purchases...

The tongue-in-cheekness value was up to each individual composer.

I'm working on mp3 excerpts. Will update.

Thanks:

Jim

As a starting-point it is fairly limitless, you could literally go in
any direction with it - drawing from the recordings of noise or the
ideas behind 'Clairaudience'.

I'd be interested to hear what you and others did..

Have you heard anything by Scanner? he cobbles sort of ambient stuff
with recordings made from spying on peoples walkie talkies and mobile
phones using a scanner. Some of its quite interesting...
