I have used the 8-channel circle decoding very
successfuly; I can run a check tomorrow and let
you know what the position of the speakers is
exactly. As far as I can remember it is counterclockwise
starting from the right.

But they surely work; last time I used it, it was
in a concert last April, and it was very good.
