I obtained a timing for gcc/g++ 4.1.1 on Ubuntu to compare with my earlier timings for 3.4 on Windows XP Media Edition and Ubuntu: CPU 88.970. That is 16% faster than Windows (recall that gcc 4.1.1 is not available on Windows unless you build it from sources).

I have now built the STK opcodes. I will try to get the manual and API reference soon, then I will try to update the Debian package.
