SubjectRe: [Cs-dev] Status Update Request
I would be against a move from C to C++, not because I don't
like the language, but because I think it might alienate
some of the developers as not everyone is into C++.

I am worried that such move would: a) introduce bugs into
the code; b) split the group. If a) happens, with b) we
have less chance of fixing things. We don't have anyone
full-time working on the API code now to track down problems
and I would prefer to maintain the actual structure, which
is mostly sound (if you excuse me the pun).
