Loris is still maintained. The current version of Loris does NOT use SDIF.  More information please: operating system and version, Csound version, Csound custom built or pre-built? On Windows, your best bet is to use the prebuilt 5.02 installer from SourceForge. On Linux. to build using the Loris sources that come WITH csound 5.

Loris and LPC are completely different. The other things in Csound closest to Loris are hetro/adsyn and the tracking partial opcodes.
