Csound is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), and you can license your software either with that, or with the GPL (the GNU General Public License), or with pretty much any other "open source" license. The LGPL is an "open source" license and the GPL is a "free software" license. Hit the Wikipedia if you need to understand these terms.
