Exactly what I was thinking of.

Actually they can be, but I'm not sure when/if I'll implement it.

I might suggest simply displaying the original's  line and
permitting the user to modify it.

At any rate, the original line should be displayed.

Also, the possible values for -M0 and -odac could not readily be made into a
predetermined list.
