About plugin Csounds, the reason CsoundVST needs an internal orc and sco is 
so that the patch can be retrieved from Csound stored in some sort of "song" 
file by the host as binary data, then fed back to Csound when the "song" is 
opened again.

Do you know whether a DSSI plugin would have similar requirements?
