That sounds interesting, we could have a little discussion on that perhaps.

Anyway, the idea of a complete re-write sounds a little daft to me. No wonder
it did not take off. Why bother with making a new csound? Better do 
something different
(as many others have done).  If the opcode collection is the reason, it 
would probably be fairly easy to
port them to another system.
