Can I assume that FLTK and MIDI in now work dependably (realtime) in Csound5
on Mac OSX?

When FLTK is compiled to use the same thread for the GUI as for the 
audio, yes.

It's been mentioned before that the use of separate threads for FLTK, 
while possible and does work (even on Mac OS 10.3.9) it is not 
recommended.

MIDI does and has worked quite well on OS X even since Csound5 was in 
beta. It doesn't seem like this has changed much - MIDI is an integral 
component of a musical application of Csound5, and it seems to work 
quite well, at the moment at least.

ps. I played the 16 slider version of your latest piece "ET ITERUM 
VENTURUS EST" on Mac OS 10.3.9 without error or issue. I liked the mp3 
version better than my own performance of it though ;) I enjoyed this 
piece very much.
