In Csound-x , how can we get syntax highlighting straight up when
opening CSD files? I can only get it after I split the CSD into a separate
orc for editing. Then when I go back to the CSD the syntax highlighting is up.
Turning on syntax highlighting does not do anything.

Also, on Windows what is the equivalent of a .emacs file and where should it
go?

you need to have the MMM minor mode installed
