I don't think so; but then I am not really sure. Portmidi
does not
seem to be multi-instantiable, as far as  can see. I suppose
we are in
need of a 'native' coremidi module.

By the way, would you like to commit your code to CVS? It is
possible to build xcode projects from the command-line
using xcodebuild. It is possible to use the scons command
builder to call it, so your app can be build from scons
together
with the rest of the Csound 5 stuff. Just an idea.
