| Announcing a group of new Windows articles relating to live-performance
Csound and diverse control surfaces. Emphasis on usind MIDIOx .vbs files and
VBScripts to deal with endless rotary encoders and other problem features.
Several of the articles (revised) deal with the Peavey StudioMix. Another
segment on the Digidesign R1 Remote Controller is a bit of a tutorial/model
showing how to deal with a variety of unique data conversion issues, should
you need or want to do something similar.
I've put all my Csound articles (there were 3 earlier ones as well) on a
separate page on my site - distinct from my compositions. The direct link

As always, I appreciate feedback. These articles have been a large and
ongoing effort. I've done it because I'd like my own compositions to be
performable on as wide a range of control surfaces as possible. (In so
doing, I've amassed quite a large assortment of them - largely through eBay.
I'm still looking for the ideal controller, BTW. Still nothing with 16
sliders, compact, and USB - rather amazing.) I also want to share this
investment of time and energy with other kindred spirits.
Now, hopefully, back to composition and other important things - like Advent
and the Christmas season.
