I have added some pictures to cSounds.com from the recent Csound 
conference that were graciously shared with all of us by Victor 
Lazzarini.

Of course it is certainly a goal to make all individuals portrayed in 
the pictures feel that they are depicted in an honorable and dignified 
way.

If for any reason any individuals feel that this is not the case in 
these pictures, please email me directly and I will do my best to 
respect your wishes, without question.

If anyone has any additional pictures, information, etc they would like 
to share with the Csound community via cSounds.com - please !!! by all 
means email me directly or please post to this list.

I would really enjoy to adding:
  * More Pictures
  * Videos of any Lectures
  * Supplemental PowerPoint Presentation slides
  * Papers related to concepts discussed
  * Anything you feel is interesting !

... it is not the goal to undermine the effort of the upcoming (and 
highly anticipated ^_^) Csound Journal issue. The ultimate goal is to 
share additional information about the conference without spoiling 
what's going to be in the next Csound Journal - to share this 
information that would not otherwise be appreciated at the level it 
deserves from our community at large !

There are captions, tooltip-style - hold the mouse over a picture for a second 
or two. Sooo wish I had been able to go!

It would have been nice to have had you here, too.

Anyway, this was a kind of proof-of-concept. Perhaps
we can think of a 'proper' csound conference for next year,
where we can bring everyone together.

Dear Csounders,
May I use the list to thank all those who attended the Sounds Electric 
'05 Festival of Electroacoustic Music at NUI, Maynooth, Ireland, last 
weekend? For those who don't know, the Sounds Electric '05 Festival was 
organised by the EAR New Music Collective and over the weekend of 
concerts we featured one entire concert of works submitted in response 
to our 'call for works' written using Csound. We also had a call for 
papers on Csound. It is surprising that there is no dedicated Csound 
conference and we are delighted to have been able host so many well 
known people from the Csound world. We thank you all for the unique 
contribution you made to our festival.
