hi im new to this proper program & some dumb questions just dont stop crashing my head i've got the problem that whenever i want to repeat some section the duration of the contained notes seem to double or even triple well i tried to include time statements in every section before / after the r statement without any reaction you know, i just want to know if there's an opportunity of making the score somehow smaller and neat and in another score where i used garvbsig init 0 with the a1 reverb2 garvbsig, p4, p5 outs a1,a1 garvbsig = 0 with start 0 dur 20 in a section with a dur 20 the section copied and pasted after the first one and a s statement also doubles its duration without any a~ / f~ / t-statements used I'm really confused about this & am doing now the score by pure hand-writing which is really boring-crap ! and as i dont get these pretty things like scoregenerator and cscore working/understood this is my only working way of scorewriting. ohh & one more problem probably connected to the aforementioned: How can i do some percussive/repetitive sections and beside that a score which dont repeat at all, e.g.: drum section (4sec) repeated # times; synthie-section (#sec) repeated 4 times; cause what i do is build a synthieline which is longer than my drumline & what happens while rendering: synthieline _ _ _ _ _ _ stop; then drumline repeated without the synthieline in background. thanks for everything in advance and sorry for my writing i need some sleep |

Can you include your sco and orc (or at least more than you do below) in the body of the email so we can see it? That'll help a lot. -Bill B marten wrote: > hi im new to this proper program & some dumb questions just dont stop > crashing my head > i've got the problem that whenever i want to repeat some section the > duration of the contained notes seem to double or even triple > well i tried to include time statements in every section before / > after the r statement without any reaction > > you know, i just want to know if there's an opportunity of making the > score somehow smaller and neat > > and in another score where i used garvbsig init 0 with the > a1 reverb2 garvbsig, p4, p5 > outs a1,a1 > garvbsig = 0 > with start 0 dur 20 in a section with a dur 20 > the section copied and pasted after the first one and a s statement > also doubles its duration without any a~ / f~ / t-statements used > I'm really confused about this & am doing now the score by pure > hand-writing > which is really boring-crap ! > and as i dont get these pretty things like scoregenerator and cscore > working/understood this is my only working way of scorewriting. > > ohh & one more problem probably connected to the aforementioned: > How can i do some percussive/repetitive sections > and beside that a score which dont repeat at all, e.g.: > drum section (4sec) repeated # times; > synthie-section (#sec) repeated 4 times; > cause what i do is build a synthieline which is longer than my > drumline & what happens while rendering: > synthieline _ _ _ _ _ _ stop; > then drumline repeated without the synthieline in background. > > thanks for everything in advance and sorry for my writing i need some > sleep |
