would rendering it to file inte the aiff format, then importing it into garage band work for you. this is what i do, and then edit/ loop etc... the sound file. cheers, james. _____________________________________ James Mason Music Librarian New York Public Library for the Performing Arts 40 Lincoln Center Plaza New York, N.Y. 10023-7498 212.870.1679 |

you can try http://www.nuim.ie/academic/music/musictec/csound/ This was built on 10.3.9 but I have run it on 10.4 and I think it works OK. It does not have Jack, though; if you want it, you wil need to get the CVS sources. Or, if Simon posts his build, you can get binaries from him. The full programme of the Sounds Electric 05 festival is now on www.ear.ie/sounds_electric.htm We will have two seminar sessions dedicated to Csound and a whole concert with pieces selected from an international call for works using Csound. Dr. R Boulanger will deliver the keynote speech and is presenting a fine concert of his music. We will also have what will perhaps be Csound5's concert premiere, with a new piece for ensemble and computer. I hope some of you might be able to join us for the weekend. Hi Comin, I edited the SConstruct file of Csound5 yesterday to enable the use of jackosx with csound5. Does garage band can connect to the jack server? So you should be able to use jackosx with csound5 by now. Victor, Do you know if the pieces presented there were recorded? If you have the recordings, could you disponibilize these on the net? Thanks, Robson >From: Victor Lazzarini |
