Hi I just compiled om (http://www.nongnu.org/om-synth/) with lash (http://www.nongnu.org/lash/) support. This looks to me like the future of linux audio: work in a bunch of audio/midi generating/manipulating software, save your hugely complex setup in lash, and load the whole thing from lash_panel. I know that many csounders don't work this way. But still I'm daring asking: Is there any chance we will see lash support in csound? Maybe this has already been discussed and things are in the works? Thanks in advance for any response... -- peace, love & harmony Atte http://www.atte.dk |

Ah yes, the new Grail. ;-) Personally, I'd love to see Csound get LASH-savvy. Unfortunately I have no idea whether that's a difficult task or not. Btw, Atte: You probably already know about QJackCtl's Patchbay. You can save patching templates and load them to at least partially automate your setup and connections. Alas, it won't launch your apps, it just autoconnects them. Best, dp |
