Subject[Csnd] csound5 audio device specifications
Hi.

I was wondering if anyone ever sorted out audio device specifying
on OSX with csound5?
I have an emagic emi 2|6 and was hoping to use it with Csound5,
realtime audio and FLTK to run improsculpt.

Thanks

Pat

I have found much success with the newly added in CVS option
-+noninterleaved= . It works with Digi hardware and it's
likely it could work with eMagic's hardware as well, when the hardware
requires explicit separation of channels.

Starting with your DAC the eMagic number would probably be 1 or 2 on
the system (0 being the internal card) so your command line might be

localhost:~$ ./csound -odac:1 -idevaudio:1 -+noninterleaved=1
-+rtaudio=CoreAudio -d -M0 /your/csound/orcscocsd

Hope this helps,

-David
