I tried rtaudio with  csound5-2005-08-27.zip 
 and it works 
using  "csound -d -m128 -odac0 -+rtaudio=mme -B512 -b64 temp.orc temp.sco".
CsoundVST (July 16 2005)  gives "Failed to initialise real time audio 
output"

What is the "correct" version" to use?

Why this error with Csound5 VST?

Is the Java bindings avialable for both (at least in the future)?

By the way, the directory structures are different between the two 
versions.  It is not easy to switch between the both because of the env 
variables.
