About CsoundQt, I find that even if I put literally all DLLs from my build of Qt into a new Csound install bin directory, it still crashes on my other computer. It still runs as built on my build computer, though. I am continuing to investigate without much evidence. I will try running the debugger on my other computer to see what happens, this evening.

About other front ends, the current Windows installer also includes by default Winsound.

Winxsound works fine with Csound 6 on my other computer where I have installed Csound 6 from the current installer, so for now I will include Winxsound with the Windows installer, that should be done tonight.

I will still try to get QuteCsound working for other people.

Regards,
Mike

We should probably ask Stefano if it's Ok with him to include WinXound
with the latest installers before doing so? Stefano? Are you out
there?!?

winxsound is open source and its web site has the source code available for download. So, Stefano's permission is not required. I would be happy if he were happy, though.

The winxsound license is gplv2 but there is no linking with Csound. So, there is no license issue.

Mike

Thanks for all your work on this, Mike!

If you want to upload the installer somewhere and then email me
(midiguru23@sbcglobal.net), I'll be happy to download and run it before you
do a public upload, and let you know what happens. I wish I could do more.
