Subject[Csnd] EQ in CSound - mid-boost
Hi,

How would I do a mid-boost (10db ard 1.5Hz) in CSound? That's all I need, a
mid boost around that region, preferably with a less expensive op-code.
I'm familiar with the filters but they don't really do parametric eq-ing -
they either cut the highs or the lows and boost the resonance around the
cut-off region.

Thanks for the help.

I don't have a lot of experience with any of these, but there are a number of other opcodes available that can be used as bandpass filters, which is probably what you want, e.g.: statevar, svfilter, and the Butterworth opcodes (butter*).
