For the third year in a row I have asked CS and Maths students to
write a short piece with Csound to show they understand the
technology.  I have just recently finished putting the 2010 pieces on
the web.

The page is http://cs.bath.ac.uk/jpff/CM30142/CourseMusic10.html
with short notes and links to longer descriptions.  This year the
theme was Air treated however they wanted -- 2009 was Water and 2008
was unthemed but other rules.

Thanks, John. It's nice to hear what you and your students are up to,
and that you get them to make music even though it's not a music
education.
And really good to hear they force you out of a compoaser block!
Would you say the music production part influence the way they learn
CS and Maths?
