Please excuse this spammish message, but I would like to draw your attention to the ICIA Concert at the University of Bath this coming Friday at 19:30. It starts in the University Hall area, with creative uses of a grand piano, and continues with a concert of works closely connected to the Department of Computer Science in Bath. We will play + "Bangalore to ..." by Derek Pierce aka Beatsystem, for tape and live flute played by Richard Dobson (Derek set up our sound studio; Richard is well known to Csounders) Csound+CDP + "wii-C-sound" by Richard Boulanger (aka DrB), for 4 mac laptops, 4 wii-motes and a video camera -- played by Boulanger, Dobson, Caufield, Pierce and myself + "Remembering Cubbon Park in the Time of Monsoon" by John ffitch, for tape and live flute, played by Richard Dobson (Csound) + "Crossing the Dark Rift" by Archer Endrich, a music and video show Archer is a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Bath. (CDP) All these are first performances except the first. ==John ffitch |

Rory, WOW.... happy to be performing here, but really wish I could be there too! Have a wonderful concert Rory - I am sure it will be incredibly inspiring with that lineup! Dr. B. Hello all Today, i checked an older machine of mine, running windows, on which i had a Csound installation. It appeard though that something (me, i guess) has messed with the paths and the enviroment variables that were originally created by the installer. Could someone, with a working csound installation on Windows, post the enviroment variables that relate to the program, along with any paths? You know, things like RAWPATH (if i remember correctly), OPCODEDIR, PATH etc. Thank you all Panos |

To answer my own question: SYSTEM ENVIROMENT VARIABLES CSOUNDRC=C:\Programs\Csound\.csoundrc OPCODEDIR64=C:\Programs\Csound\plugins64 PYTHONPATH=;C:\Programs\Csound\bin RAWWAVE_PATH=C:\Programs\Csound\samples SFOUTYP=WAV USER ENVIROMENT VARIABLES PATH=C:\Programs\Csound\bin Of course actual paths may be different. Also the OPCODEDIR64 should be OPCODEDIR if one has the "f" version installed (not the "d" version). Thanks Panos Katergiathis wrote: > > Hello all > > Today, i checked an older machine of mine, running windows, on which i > had a Csound installation. You can also have both OPCODEDIR and OPCODEDIR64 defined if you have both versions installed (not sure if it is possible with the current Windows installer, but will work fine if you build Csound yourself. Cheers, Andrés On Sat, Feb 28, 2009 at 6:54 PM, Panos Katergiathis |
