I think this is not a bug. I am guess here that wgpluck2  uses an
averaging filter in its waveguide loop (I have not looked at the code).
That filter has a cutoff frequency that is SR-dependent (at 1/4 SR).
So if you change the SR, the tone will change too.

Or is there anything else I did not notice?

Thanks for the reply Victor. The difference I get is that with sr =
16000 & kr = 160 there is a short decay so that the tone ends before
the note-end. But with sr = 44100 the decay is much longer and the
note is interrupted with a click at the end. Also there is a click at
the start of the note with sr = 44100. Picture 1 shows the 16000
version and picture 2 the 44100.
