I'm that old, and I barely remember (slightly fading), 
I remember when floppies were really floppy and 
11-inch floppies at that (circa 1972 to about 1977).
I even remember Sputnik and the X-15 rocket plane test
(back when I was a kitty-wink). Remember "Switched On
Bach" and Walter Carlos?

For the record, first encounter with Csound was in 1997 - or the year  
10 BK (Before kpan2)

Could have been worse - at least it was a 3.5" floppy!

I'm practically raising my 3 year old on Switched on Bach. That and
Daft Punk. :)
