Subject[Csnd] CsoundQt's <, > and " doesn't work. Please help (windows 7)
I go " and it does nothing. I type " again and it gives me this : ``
I go <, >, / and ? and it gives me this : '.éÉ

please help me with my keyboard (laptop) it's an Acer Aspire 5738-6252

The keyboard works fine on everything else. Just not CsoundQt's Text Editor
pane.

I went to the Control Panel and double-clicked on Keyboard, opened the
hardware tab and found two devices: HID keyboard device and Standard PS/2
keyboard.

do I have to remove a device assuming I only need one not two?
I'm just guessing.
I don't think that other CsoundQt users have this problem. I think it's my
Acer's fault.

Works here. Is CsoundQt's language setting set correctly on your
system? In the configuration dialog box, under the "General" tab,
you'll see an "Interface Language" setting. Make sure it is set
correctly.

If CsoundQt's language setting is correct, check the system keyboard
layout. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306560#LetMeFixItMyselfAlways
for instructions on how to do that.

I restart CsoundQt and it works properly. I selected english in the interface
language which was ALREADY selected. (?)

If it works, don't fix it =)

Let us know if it happens again and we'll try to figure out if there's
something wrong with CsoundQt or not. I haven't run into this problem
myself and I haven't heard any reports from anybody else with the same
problem so I'm going to assume it's not a bug in CsoundQt for now.
